紐約幼獅青少年管弦樂團將舉辦第廿一年度林肯中心年度音樂會，訂於六月十四日晚間七時半，假林肯中 心艾莉絲特麗廳(曼哈頓百老匯1941號)舉行；並於五月十七日(週六)晚間七時在皇后區法拉盛北方大道台 灣會館(137-44 Northern Blvd., Flushing, NY)舉行第九屆台灣會館音樂會，表演一場供社區人士聆聽之免 費音樂會。 紐約幼獅青少年管弦樂團由音樂總監鍾啟仁指揮近五十位年輕演奏家，其他指導老師為洪莉玲/弦樂及室內 樂，銅、管樂/廖信惠，打擊樂/林季靜，張紀葳/鋼琴，譜務/黃馨儀。將推出古典、流行、百老匯、電影音 樂和台灣名曲。 音樂會曲目： Broadway's Beloved Songs/ Arr. 紐約幼獅青少年管弦樂團
自 1998 年以來，紐約幼獅青少年管弦樂團所推出的《聖誕音樂會 Holiday Concert》成為皇后區聖誕佳節 傳統慶典之一;2002 年起，每年於林肯中心舉行《年度音樂會 Annual Concert》。 紐約幼獅青少年管弦樂團秉持著「服務社區‧教育英才」和「幼吾幼以及人之幼」的理念，在社區中多次親 善演出，行跡遍及圖書館、公園、學校、社區之耆老，醫療與復健中心等。除每年定期於皇后區舉辦聖誕音 樂會與林肯中心年度音樂會之外，曾舉辦九次美亞巡迴(1997、1999、2002、2005、2007、2010、2012、 2015、2018)、兩次美國西岸(1998、2000)以及歐洲(2006)演奏之旅，於舊金山、洛杉磯、聖地牙哥、夏 威夷、台北、宜蘭、台中、鹿港、高雄、金門、廈門、北京、上海、香港、大阪、東京、橫濱、維也納、薩 爾斯堡、布拉格等地，舉辦過數十場親善交流音樂會，不僅開拓了團員們的視野，也達到音樂交流的使命。 2015 年 7 月，紐約幼獅青少年管弦樂團和台灣新北市大豐國小校友管弦樂團共赴東京音樂大學以及台北市 福華國際文教中心與當地音樂學生親善交流和共同演奏音樂;2018 年夏天與桃園六和國中管弦樂團、台中 安和國中管樂團及澳門聖公會中學樂團於台中交流，並赴日本橫濱 Minato Mirai Hall 載譽演出並兼就地旅 遊。
紐約幼獅青少年管弦樂團招收團員年齡自 10 歲至 18 歲，來自預約甄試，經錄取後，每年九月至次年六月 之每週六下午一時至四時，假皇后區貝賽 158 初中(Marie Curie Middle School)排練;由資優老師林季靜、 張若葳、張紀葳 、廖信惠 、洪莉玲等指導，鍾啟仁擔任音樂總監兼指揮，及黃馨儀擔任譜務。 紐約幼獅青少年管弦樂團演出的曲目包括古典、流行、爵士、百老匯、電影及亞洲音樂，更開創《幼獅師生 才藝表演音樂會》，由本團師生演出獨奏和重奏之室內樂。
紐約幼獅青少年管弦樂團成立於 1996 年，自 1997 年向紐約州政府註冊為非營利機構，1998 至 2007 年 列入紐約市政府燈塔計劃(The Beacon Program)。1999 年起至今多次獲得紐約市皇后藝術基金協會 (Queens Council on the Arts)、紐約州藝術基金協會(New York State Council on the Arts)、紐約市文化 事務局(New York City Department of Cultural Affairs)、紐約市議會、紐約市議員顧雅明及黃敏儀、 紐 約第一銀行等頒發獎助基金;並獲綠洲基金會、TheJatainFoundation、中華民國僑務委員會 、駐紐約台 北經濟文化辦事處、以及紐約華僑文教服務中心、台灣會館、 華美銀行 、林口印刷、普利斯商務網路等贊 助。
YOUTH ORCHESTRA, CYCNY
The Youth Orchestra is a Queens-based 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1996, whose mission is to provide orchestral training and performing opportunities for instrumental music students, ages ten to eighteen. The orchestra's unique repertory includes commissions by American and Asian composers, as well as classical, popular, Jazz, Broadway, Film, and Asian music.
After completing one of two biannual auditions (either September or January), members attend weekly rehearsals from September through June at Middle School 158 in Bayside, Queens. Youth Orchestra members perform in venues ranging from local community centers to renowned concert venues (Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center), as well as summer concert tours to the West Coast, Asia, and Europe.
In 2020-21, the orchestra conducted its weekly education program and performances online, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Award-winning musician/engineer Yasuhiko Fukuoka edited the spectacular digital submissions from Youth Orchestra members, and the Holiday Concert and Annual Concert were presented on YouTube. The Youth Orchestra returned to weekly in-person rehearsals on September 18, 2021, and performed annual concerts at Lincoln Center on June 16, 2022, June 17, 2023 and June 8, 2024. Upcoming 2024-25 performances include the 27th Annual Holiday Concert on December 15, 2024 at MS158 in Bayside, Queens; and the 21st Concert on June 14, 2025 at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall.

音樂總監‧指揮‧弦樂指導 鍾啟仁老師 Chijen Christopher Chung, Music Director / Conductor / String Instructor
鍾啟仁指揮和大提琴家是台灣高雄市人，五歲起開始學習鋼琴、小 提琴、及大提琴。 曾經連續三年獲得高雄市及台灣區音樂比賽大 提琴第一名。就讀國立台灣師範大學期間曾榮獲協奏曲比賽第一名， 並與師大音樂系交響樂團合作演出「聖桑第一號大提琴協奏曲」。 鍾老師在台灣曾任教於台北縣光仁中學音樂班，桃園西門國小音樂 班，及關渡基督書院音樂系等學校。
1991-1993 年間於臺北市立交響樂團擔任大提琴助理首席，並擔 任臺灣音契室內樂團及音契合唱管絃樂團大提琴首席。鍾老師除了教學外並有豐富的行政經驗，曾擔任台 灣音契合唱管絃樂團的藝術行政助理及紐約雅歌音樂藝術學院的音樂總監等。
1997 來美就讀 Purchase College, SUNY 並師事瓜內里絃樂四重奏的大提琴家 Peter Wiley，獲得音樂學 士及音樂碩士學位。2006 年起擔任紐約幼獅青少年管弦樂團的弦樂指導，並曾於 2010 年與樂團合作，擔 任獨奏，熱情、精湛地演出〈艾爾加大提琴協奏曲〉於林肯中心、愛麗斯特莉廳。2011 年 9 月起擔任本團 指揮，曾指揮以下之世界和美國首演包括:2012 年幼獅世界首演日裔美籍作曲家福岡保彥的作品《千里之 道》，2013 年幼獅與國際古箏演奏家黃好吟教授在紐約首演台灣作曲家馬水龍教授的《尋-古箏協奏曲》， 同時指揮世界首演美國百老匯作曲家 Steve Margoshes 的作品《交響舞曲-選自歌舞劇名揚四海》;2014 年及 2015 年指揮美國首演黃輔棠《神鵰俠侶》交響樂曲;2016 年世界首演陳潔思《擬態》小提琴協奏曲 ， 由簡名彥教授擔任小提琴獨奏;2018 年世界首演崔翰率《暝想》打擊樂協奏曲，由林季靜老師擔任打擊樂 獨奏。
鍾老師自 2013 年 9 月起擔任幼獅青少年管弦樂團的音樂總監兼指揮，並在大紐約地區教授大提琴及鋼琴 學生。
A native of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Mr. Chung began his musical studies in piano, violin and cello at the ages of five and nine. He attended the National Taiwan Normal University where he majored in cello, minored in piano and was awarded the Certificate of Music Education.
Upon moving to the United States, Mr. Chung studied under the tutelage of cellist Peter Wiley (of Guarneri String Quartet), at Conservatory of Music at Purchase College, SUNY, where he received both his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Music Performance.
Mr. Chung's wide professional experience encompasses symphony orchestra and chamber music performances, conducting, teaching, studio recording and administration. He served as Associate Principal Cellist of the Taipei Symphony Orchestra, Principal Cellist of the Yin-Qi Symphony Orchestra & Chorus in Taiwan. He performed with the Chinese Community Chamber Orchestra, New York Symphony Orchestra, as well as the Amadeus String Quartet and Piano Trio at Carnegie Hall. With Youth Orchestra, CYCNY, Chung performed Elgar's Cello Concerto as soloist at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center in 2010. Since 2012, he has been servicing as the Music Director and Conductor of Youth Orchestra, CYCNY, conducted many World Premiere works that were: Yasuhiko Fukuoka's Journey of a Thousand Miles; Steve Margoshes's Symphony Dance from FAME - The Musical; Justine F. Chen's Mimesis Violin Concerto with Min Yen Chien as soloist; Hansol Choi's Higgaion Percussion Concerto with ChiChing Grace Lin as soloist.
For the US Premieres, he conducted Shui-Long Ma's Searching-Concerto for Gu-Zheng and Orchestra, with Hao-Yin Huang as Gu-Zheng soloist, as well as Fu-Tong Wong's Symphony Condor Hero. Mr. Chung has long believed that music has the power to transform lives, to transcend cultures and languages and to bring people together. For this reason, he dedicates his life toward inspiring a new generation of young musicians to pursue their dreams through the challenging and life-changing process of music education.
